As the COVID-19 (Corona Virus) continues to be a risk to the general public, Surfside Urgent Care remains committed to caring for our community. At the same time, we are taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff. We have implemented the following practices as a result:

We have altered our hours to allow extra cleaning/sanitizing at the end of the day. We are now taking our last patient at 5:45 PM M-F and 4:30 pm Sat/Sun (please try to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to closing).

SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES ARE IN PLACE

THE PARKING LOT IS OUR NEW WAITING ROOM CALL US FROM THE PARKING LOT PRIOR TO COMING TO OUR OFFICE. WE ARE TRYING TO PREVENT CROWDING. CURRENTLY WAIT TIMES REMAIN LOW.

We will instruct you to come up stairs to our facility or wait until space is available. OUR DOORS ARE LOCKED. Please DO NOT ENTER our office unless instructed and accompanied by a staff member. There are 3 exam cubicles in the breezeway outside of our clinic, please have a seat in one of the unoccupied spaces. If all spaces are occupied, please stand to the side. All patients will be greeted outside and screened for fever, cough and cold symptoms and risk of COVID exposure. Most care if being done in the breezeway area outside of our facility except for a few limited procedures, tests and x-rays and only on those patients without fever, COVID symptoms or COVID risk factors. All staff is wearing personal protective equipment. MASKS ARE REQUIRED WITHOUT EXCEPTION for evaluation; if you do not have a mask, we will provide one. Masks must completely cover your nose and mouth and cannot have valves.  If you refuse to wear a mask you will have to seek care elsewhere.
